In this course, you will learn to understand the main points of speech, radio and TV programs on current events, and topics of personal and professional interest. You will practice reading different kinds of texts that consist of everyday and job-related language. You will also learn how to write connected texts. You will improve your speech interaction and production skills, using a wide variety of activities and exercises on topics that are familiar, of personal interest, or pertinent to everyday life. Grammatical points include noun phrases, articles, possessives, reflexive pronouns, modals of probability, reported speech, reported thoughts, and reported questions.
