Lithuanian I is designed for students without any previous exposure to Lithuanian. Placing a strong emphasis on communication, the course will introduce students to the basic knowledge of Lithuanian grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. In this course, among other skills, students will learn how to introduce themselves, to tell others about themselves and their family, to arrange a meeting, to ask for and give directions, to describe their likes and dislikes, to describe and order food. Students will learn the most important everyday phrases and acquire the necessary conversation that will help them to start and keep a conversation in Lithuanian.
