Mini Summary:
In the game Silent Hill 2 James Sunderland receives a letter from his deceased wife, who passed away after a long battle with an illness, stating that she is waiting for him in the town of Silent Hill. He goes on a venture to find her, only to be constantly confronted by monsters, horror and traumatic experiences.

In a turn of events it is revealed that his wife Mary did not die of her illness but was suffocated by James himself. The game has multiple different endings, depending on the player‘s choices, depicting how James copes with the realities of his actions.
