16.12.2025 - Religion. How are religious questions and experiences worked through in fanfic?

Context for the primary text:
This is a modern AU, accordingly, you don't really need much info on the HP characters. In the context of this fic, Remus is a Catholic priest who Sirius meets because Remus is supposed to lead Sirius's father Orion's funeral. Under the pseudonym "Moony", Remus is also secretly a bass player that Sirius finds super hot and has been texting with. Sirius has not yet figured out that Remus and Moony are the same person. In this fic, Remus has grown up with his Irish grandfather, but his father's family is Indian.
