The seminar introduces basic concepts of data analysis and statistical computing using the R software suite. The course is tailored to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the psychological and biomedical sciences. We will introduce basic statistical concepts and provide hands-on training in RStudio. Among others, topics include: (1) general data management, (2) creating R projects, (3) basic programming techniques, (4) descriptive statistics and general linear models, and (5) multivariate analytical techniques.
The course will be held on Friday mornings from 10.30 to 12:00 am, starting on the 7th of November 2025. Prior to the 1st session, please create a GitLab account at https://gitlab.com, and forward me your username.
