Taqvaylit is one of the major varieties of the so-called Berber languages. Spoken predominantly in northern Algeria - the Kabyle regions -, it is also used in France and other European countries by people who often have personal ties to North Africa.
This course aims at practical language competence. Its approach is communicative and - to the extent this is possible in a university context - immersive.
