This course is an extention of Writing Skills I in that it seeks to improve further students' ability to write academic essays. Whereas Writing Skills I focuses more on the essay format, this class will lean more heavily of developing essay content. To this end, we will use dramatic literature, both primary and secondary. Students will be expected to become conversant with these in order to develop their work to a satisfactory level. A number of mandatory essay assignments will be set over the semester. To receive credit, students must pass the final essay examination.
