In this seminar, we will dive deeper into selected topics of Cognitive Psychology, the branch of psychology concerned with the scientific study of the mind. We will discuss mental processes such as perception, attention, memory, knowledge, language, problem solving, and decision making. Our focus will be on understanding how we can study these "invisible" mental processes, which research methods are used to do so, and how findings from this research relates to our everyday experience.

Prior participation in the lecture PsyBSc4: Allgemeine Psychologie I (winter term) is recommended.
