To improve students' academic essay-writing ability. In this way, this course is a continuation of the l work begun in Integrated Language Skills I and Writing Skills I. Major topics include features of academic writing, components of essay writing, secondary source citation, and sentence structure analysis. Student essays will be based on British & Irish short stories.
