The course is an introduction into the broad field of ‘artificial intelligence’ (AI), designed for psychology students with a focus on interdisciplinarity and its significance for educational psychology. The objective of the course is to gain a better understanding of the interconnectedness of technological, psychological and ethical issues concerning the development and use of AI-based systems in eduaction.
Beside topics such as foundations of AI, machine learning, reasoning, or common (mis-)conceptions, the provided material and discussions will promote the understanding of current issues in AI (e.g. black box metaphor, transparency and bias) as well as ethical, societal and economic aspects that arise with the continuous development of AI technologies.- Trainer/in: Sabine Fabriz
