The course is an introduction to the broad field of ‘artificial intelligence’ (AI), designed for psychology students with a focus on interdisciplinarity and its significance for educational psychology. The objective of the course is to gain a better understanding of the interconnectedness of technological, psychological, and ethical issues concerning the development and use of AI-based systems in education. We will examine relevant constructs and models from educational psychology and their implications for the application of AI in educational contexts.
