A little bit of light reading for this one. The fanfic references the events of Harry Potter & the Cursed Child a couple of times but you don't really need to know all of the play's somewhat convoluted plot to understand this 3k fic. Basically, all you need to understand is this:
The play has been accused of queerbaiting and has actually been adapted to make it less compulsively heterosexual in later stagings (but still not explicitly queer). The fanfic is the start of a series and I think some later works might be interesting as well but that's very much optional.
