There are no warnings for this chapter and you don't really need any knowledge about Supernatural to understand the fic.
What could be relevant in terms of adaptation is that in SPN, the angels work similar to a military force. People with weird names in the fic are all angels in canon. Dean is canonically a monster hunter which there are not a lot of and which don't work as an organised force but rather in small teams and mostly outside the law (because there are no laws regarding supernatural creatures).
