Minor literature does not come from a minor language , but rather a minority within a major language/culture.

According to the text minor language consists of three aspects: deterritorialization of a language, political immediacy and the assemblage of enunciation.

In this text the author writes how Kafka wrote in German even though he also was fluent in Czech. In this example German was a better language for writing literature and had a wider range of, which is why Kafka wrote in German , but he still managed to implement Czech styles into his literature (skeleton of sense, paper cutout). Kafka gives his literature a creative utilisation of language, new expressivity and new flexibility.

It also mentioned that not all languages can work together when translated (meaning gets lost). ‘What can be said in one language cannot be said in another…’
